Did I forget, or did I not forget
People dressed fashionably,

If that way, I could have remembered feelings that I had forgotten

The future I'm thinking of presently
Now that the music videos for Hasu no Hana and Sayonara wa Emotion have been released, it's generally the end of all the announcements related to this single.
This time too, many people got involved in the single.
Various views and ways of thinking, varied choices and lifestyles of many people oozed out.
I think it became a single with extremely rich content.
In the midst of lack of time, to broaden our own music while putting out a result is really difficult in these times where listeners are also critics.
Precisely because of that, I feel it's interesting, and that's what brought me until here today, but honestly there were many instances where I thought "I'm tired".
Similar to the tiredness everyone feels from school, work, household matters, etc.
By learning everyday while enjoying music, thrusting away the aspect that it is work, and determinedly pursuing it, it'll naturally diverge from the kind of music that society seeks.
On the other hand, we cannot allow ourselves to release into society, a sense that we are unable to like it and it was done "because it's work".
While straddling a line in the space between those two sides, before we knew it, repeating back and forth the movement of the "centre of gravity" became the music within us.
I think that's the core that brought us until here today, as the "sakanaction-ness".
This and last year, having released Goodbye, Eureka, Sayonara wa Emotion, Hasu no Hana, they might have been unsatisfactory songs to our fans who were looking forward to music that would get people pumped up at concerts and festivals, or music that would raise spirits, but that is something we also acknowledge.
Even for myself, before I became a musician and was just a listener
Hearing the new releases of musicians I like, I have felt before
"Why aren't they making songs that are more like in the past?"
"Why aren't they making songs that gets people more pumped up?"
So, I do understand that feeling well.
On the other hand, I now terribly understand the feelings of the musicians I used to follow back then.
Like how everyone will change in their senses, emotions, and even palates as they get older, musicians too naturally, will change in their senses as they get older.
So that deviation is a phenomenon we can't help, but I think that the future we should be heading towards is probably here.
What I think is the feeling gained from the music that listeners, who are absorbing music using modern tools, are seeking
as well as the feeling gained from music that I can't stop loving now
I would like to express that disparity by making both.
I am currently thinking of things like that.
Beyond being allowed to swim in the Japanese music scene built up by predecessors, I would like to enjoy music without wounding that history... no, actually in a way, I would like to do so while wounding it, in the meaning of leaving behind a scratch.
And, I'll work hard from now on too so as to receive your support.
